Tyler Tisdell



As a partner of Licentia Financial, Tyler provides financial advice to individuals, public education staff, and non-profit organizations.  His primary expertise relates to retirement planning and working with employer sponsored markets.  Tyler's highest priority is on ethics and professionalism, which enables him to provide advice and investment strategies consistent with the financial goals to his clients.
After earning a Bachelor degree in Business Management from George Mason University, Tyler joined Equitable Advisors LLC in 2008.  His credentials include: Life Health & Annuities licenses as well as FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, and a founding Partner of Licentia Financial. 




Mark's extensive experience in the financial services field, including five years as a regional manager with Equitable Advisors, combined with the empathy gained through many other leadership positions held in the past, has given him many unique perspectives to help clients develop common sense solutions for their financial needs.  No matter where you fall on the financial spectrum, Mark has the ability to work with you to improve your circumstance, provide meaningful guidance and develop an achievable action plan.
Mark's graduation from the Royal Australian Air Force Academy in 1983, with a University of Sydney Bachelor of Aeronautical Engineering, was the precursor to his highly successful and decorated career as a military officer.  Selection as Australia's representative to complete a Masters of Strategic Studies at the USAF Air War College in Montgomery, AL, in 1999 resulted in marriage to his wife, Theresa, and immigration to the USA in 2001.  Mark joined Equitable Advisors  in 2002 in Los Angeles, CA, moved to Herndon, VA in 2003 and became a US citizen in 2005. Mark's credentials include:  Life Health & Annuities licenses, FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, a Wharton Business School Retirement Planning Specialist credential and a founding Partner of Licentia Financial.

Steven Galko



Steven leads the Pro Athlete and Entertainer division of Licentia Financial.   His priority is to educate his clients on the unique challenges young, affluent women and men face within their industry and help them focus their efforts on what counts the most - save every dollar that comes in and monitor every dollar that goes out. His goal is to inspire his clients to create a true vision for their future that transcends beyond their current career and empower them to fulfill their next venture through sound, disciplined planning.  In addition, Steven has the pleasure to work with many young professionals and new families in all facets of life, including but not limited to College Planning, Investment Management, and Legacy Planning. After graduating from Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York in 2009 with a B.S. in Finance, Steven has called the greater Washington, DC area home since 2011.  His credentials include: Series 7, Series 6, Series 66, Series 63, Life and Health Insurance License, Long Term Care certification and is a founding member of Licentia Financial. 


Justin Nesheiwat



Justin graduated from Vassar College in 2014 and moved from New York to Falls Church in 2016. He is currently in his last year of his MBA program at George Washington University.  His credentials include: FINRA Series 7 and Series 66. He enjoys exercising, rowing and cooking and has an Eagle Scout Rank. His passion for working with individuals on a one-on-one basis to create plans that provide reassurance and complete satisfaction makes him a great fit for the Licentia Financial team. 




Damon grew up in South Africa, with a goal to be a professional athlete. His love for the game of tennis and the desire to play professionally led him to the states, where he played collegiate tennis at Elon University. Damon graduated from Elon with a degree in Business Administration, a concentration in Finance, and a minor in Economics and Accounting. Prior to starting a career with Licentia, he joined the professional tennis tour, gaining invaluable skills and a unique perspective. He traveled the world, which allowed him to connect with people from a variety of backgrounds. He had to be dedicated, organized, meticulous, and self-motivated. Skills such as these are now at the center of his work as a financial advisor and to the clients he serves. He lives in Glover Park, DC, with his wife, Meredith, and son, Ellis. Damon's credentials include: FINRA Series 7, Series 66, and a Life and Health Insurance License.
